Fondo per lo Studio: how it works and how to apply for a loan
The “Fondo per lo Studio”, also know as study fund, is a tool that allows young people to obtain a student loan 🚀
Student loans are designed specifically for students, featuring benefits such as no parental guarantees required and the possibility to repay the loan more than a year after completing studies.
Loan disbursement:
With the study fund, you can receive from 3,000€ up to €15,000 for each remaining year of study, with a maximum limit of €50,000 for students enrolled in a course in Italy and €70,000 for those studying abroad.
You can apply regardless of your academic performance.
To access the student loan, you only need to be up to date with tuition fee payments and certify the grade obtained in your last completed degree 🚀
Repayment
Those who receive the loan must repay it within a period of 3 to 15 years. Repayment begins no earlier than the 30th month after the last installment of the loan. What does this mean? At the end of your studies, before the repayment phase starts, you have a mandatory 30-month period during which you will only pay the interest portion of the loan.
This program represents a significant opportunity for young people who want to invest in their education, overcome financial obstacles, and build a solid professional future.
