DSU Toscana Scholarships 2026/2027: deadlines, eligibility and application guide
The DSU Toscana Scholarships 2026/2027 provide financial support for students enrolling at universities and higher education institutions across Tuscany, Italy. DSU Toscana, the Regional Agency for the Right to University Education, has officially published its call for applications covering scholarships and student accommodation for the 2026/2027 academic year. The programme is designed to help eligible students access higher education by reducing the financial burden associated with university studies.
DSU Toscana Scholarships 2026/2027 deadlines
Applications must be submitted online through the official DSU Toscana platform within the deadlines established by the call. Students applying for bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and single-cycle master’s programmes can submit their application from 20 July 2026 until 1:00 pm on 7 September 2026. Applicants enrolled in PhD programmes or specialisation schools may apply between 25 September 2026 and 1:00 pm on 16 November 2026. In addition, a dedicated application window is available for students attending the Italian semestre filtro in another region who intend to continue their studies at a university in Tuscany. Those applications can be submitted from 1 February to 1 March 2027, subject to any changes linked to the publication of the national admission rankings. Receiving a scholarship in previous years does not guarantee automatic renewal. Every eligible student must submit a new application for the 2026/2027 academic year. Besides the financial grant, successful applicants may also qualify for student accommodation and free access to university dining services, depending on the eligibility criteria established by the official call.
Eligibility requirements
Before applying, students should carefully review the eligibility criteria described in the official call. These include ISEE and ISPE thresholds, academic merit requirements and any additional documentation requested according to the applicant’s personal situation. Specific provisions are also available for international students, students with disabilities and other eligible categories. Complete information about deadlines, required documents, ranking procedures and eligibility conditions is available in the official DSU Toscana call for applications, which should always be considered the authoritative source for applicants.
Alternative funding options
Although the DSU Toscana Scholarships 2026/2027 provide valuable financial support, they may not cover every student’s educational expenses or may not be awarded to all eligible applicants. For this reason, some students may also consider student loans as an additional way to finance their studies. Among the available solutions is Fondo Studio, an Italian State-backed student funding initiative designed to support higher education. Further information about how the programme works and the latest regulatory updates is available on the dedicated page: Fondo Studio – latest updates.
