In 2024, we launched a groundbreaking project to explore how education can serve as a powerful tool for personal redemption among inmates.

The initiative involved four individuals who, while serving their sentences, chose to pursue university degrees. Their inspiring journeys demonstrate how academic achievement can channel abilities and ambitions into building a constructive future.These remarkable stories were captured in a compelling docufilm produced in collaboration with Atacama, a social cooperative born out of Bollate Prison and the San Siro district. Atacama uses music and video as mediums for inclusion and education, crafting authentic and impactful narratives on critical social issues.This project highlights the transformative power of education and the courage of those who choose to invest in themselves, even in the face of life’s toughest challenges.
