{"id":4940,"date":"2026-02-22T19:47:42","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T18:47:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/habacus.com\/?p=4940"},"modified":"2026-02-22T19:47:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T18:47:52","slug":"fondo-per-lo-studio-new-decree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/habacus.com\/en\/fondo-per-lo-studio-new-decree\/","title":{"rendered":"Fondo per lo Studio: current rules and new updates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The new decree on the <em>Fondo per lo Studio<\/em>, published on January 24, 2026, introduces changes that expand access to credit opportunities for Italian students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s clarify what the <em>Fondo per lo Studio<\/em> currently provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The <em>Fondo per lo Studio<\/em> today<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the date of submission of the loan application, <strong>students aged between 18 and 40<\/strong> may apply for the loan, provided they are <strong>up to date with their university tuition fees<\/strong>, are <strong>not beyond the standard duration of their course<\/strong>, and are <strong>enrolled<\/strong> at <strong>public universities, private universities, online universities<\/strong>, or AFAM institutions (Academies and Conservatories) in one of the following programs:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Single-cycle Bachelor\u2019s or 5 years Master\u2019s degree<\/strong> (minimum grade requirement: <strong>75\/100 in high school <\/strong>diploma)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Master\u2019s degree <\/strong>(minimum grade requirement: <strong>100\/110 in Bachelor\u2019s <\/strong>degree)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First- or Second-level University Master\u2019s program <\/strong>(minimum grade requirement: <strong>100\/110 in degree)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Specialization school <\/strong>(minimum grade requirement:<strong>100\/110 in single-cycle Master\u2019s degree)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PhD program <\/strong>(minimum grade requirement: <strong>100\/110 in degree)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ITS (minimum grade requirement: <strong>75\/100 in high school <\/strong>diploma)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, access is also granted to those attending a <strong>language course of at least 6 months,<\/strong> recognized by an accredited certification institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amounts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The amounts that can be requested through the <em>fondo per lo studio<\/em> may reach a maximum t<strong>otal of \u20ac50,000 for students enrolled in study programs in Italy <\/strong>and \u20ac70,000 for students enrolled in study programs abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The loan is disbursed in annual installments ranging from <strong>a minimum of \u20ac3,000 to a maximum of \u20ac15,000<\/strong>, depending on the number of academic years remaining at the time of application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/comparatore.habacus.com\/it\/habacus\/2\/steps\/0?utmSource=website&amp;utmMedium=novitadecreto_en\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"364\" src=\"https:\/\/habacus.com\/app\/uploads\/2025\/08\/habacus-support-fondo-per-lo-studio-1024x364.webp\" alt=\"habacus support fondo per lo studio\" class=\"wp-image-4944\" style=\"width:800px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/habacus.com\/app\/uploads\/2025\/08\/habacus-support-fondo-per-lo-studio-1024x364.webp 1024w, https:\/\/habacus.com\/app\/uploads\/2025\/08\/habacus-support-fondo-per-lo-studio-300x107.webp 300w, https:\/\/habacus.com\/app\/uploads\/2025\/08\/habacus-support-fondo-per-lo-studio-768x273.webp 768w, https:\/\/habacus.com\/app\/uploads\/2025\/08\/habacus-support-fondo-per-lo-studio.webp 1366w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Repayment: how the pre-amortization phase works<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The loan repayment schedule may under no circumstances begin before 30 months have passed since the disbursement of the final installment.
