Organized by the <strong>Italian Banking Association (ABI)<\/strong>, the conference\u2014now in its third edition\u2014has become a key platform for dialogue among financial institutions, banks, businesses, and industry stakeholders. The event focused on three thematic areas: <strong>Credit to Families<\/strong>, <strong>Finance for Businesses<\/strong>, and <strong>Credit to Enterprises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Habacus at the panel on sustainability in youth financing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most relevant moments of the event was the panel discussion titled <strong>\u201cSustainability in family credit: The \u2018E\u2019 and \u2018S\u2019 in ESG criteria.\u201d<\/strong><br>Among the panelists was <strong>Paolo Cuniberti<\/strong>, CEO of <strong>Habacus<\/strong>, joined by several prominent figures from the financial and institutional world:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Angelo Peppetti<\/strong>, Head of the Credit and Development Office at ABI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Luca Bertalot<\/strong>, Secretary General of EMF-ECBC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Marco Marocco<\/strong>, Head of Retail Financing at Intesa Sanpaolo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pierfrancesco Severini<\/strong>, Head of Financial Guarantees and Solidarity Division at CONSAP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In a context of growing attention to social sustainability, the CEO of Habacus spotlighted a strategic issue for the country\u2019s future: the <strong>student loan market<\/strong> and the need to bridge the gap in access to education financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Student loans: an international perspective and Italy\u2019s challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, <strong>Paolo Cuniberti<\/strong> highlighted how <strong>Italy still lags behind other European countries<\/strong> in guaranteeing the right to education and providing young people with access to finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cTo match what is offered in countries like Germany, scholarships and loans should reach over <strong>330,000 students<\/strong>. Today in Italy, only just over <strong>50,000 students<\/strong> have been able to access education financing since 2019.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These figures underline the <strong>urgent need for change<\/strong>, which requires stronger public-private collaboration and broader access to instruments such as the <strong>Per Merito student loan by Intesa Sanpaolo<\/strong>, supported by Habacus in the eligibility verification process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Per Merito Intesa Sanpaolo and the digital evolution of student loans<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The panel also focused on improving the operational processes behind <a href=\"https:\/\/habacus.com\/en\/fondo-per-lo-studio-guide-application-student-loan-italy\/\"><strong>student loans<\/strong>.<\/a> Several speakers emphasized the importance of simplifying and streamlining access to education financing to ensure <strong>greater efficiency and transparency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, <strong>Angelo Peppetti (ABI)<\/strong> stressed the strategic role of Habacus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe believe <strong>Habacus can play a key role in the student loan market <\/strong>by making the process of verifying eligibility requirements\u2014necessary for banks to grant financing\u2014faster and more efficient.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sentiment was echoed by <strong>Marco Marocco (Intesa Sanpaolo)<\/strong>, who reaffirmed the bank\u2019s commitment to the <strong>Per Merito loan<\/strong>, emphasizing the goal of <strong>accelerating the digital transformation<\/strong> of the entire loan process, from application to management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Habacus and Consap: a strategic partnership to simplify access to education financing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the discussion, the panel also highlighted the <strong>strategic agreement between CONSAP and Habacus<\/strong>, which aims to <strong>simplify and digitize the procedures<\/strong> for accessing the <strong>Fondo per lo Studio<\/strong> (Study Fund).<br>This collaboration is designed to make the student eligibility verification process more efficient, ultimately facilitating access to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/habacus.com\/en\/fondo-per-lo-studio-guide-application-student-loan-italy\/\">student loans<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As <strong>Pierfrancesco Severini<\/strong> (CONSAP) stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cOur goal is to ensure that every deserving young person, regardless of their financial background, can access financing to develop their talent.<strong> Merit must truly be the only decisive factor.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This agreement marks a significant step forward in <strong>digitizing the financing process<\/strong>, in line with Habacus\u2019 mission to <strong>innovate and modernize education financing<\/strong>, making it <strong>more accessible, transparent, and inclusive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A more equitable future through student loans<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong> remains the cornerstone of social inclusion and upward mobility.
